It's like breaking up with a girl and saying, like, you know, it's our morals just don't match up.
And then you start dating a stripper.
Like, you're saying one thing, you're doing another.
The Mets said everything, and now they're doing the opposite.
And the only way to write thisβ
is over the next two weeks, and I'll tell you why.
You know who the Mets are playing?
The Twins and the Nationals?
Let me read this to you.
Because right now, when I say they're playing a bunch of crappy teams, no one's crappier than the Mets, so put that in perspective.
The Mets are playing the Twins, the Rockies.
The Twins are 500, by the way.
But I'm saying it's not like they're playing the Dodgers or some team that's going to whoop everyone.
They're not playing the Yankees.
They're playing a very beatable Twins team at home.
Then they play the Rockies, the Nationals.
Rockies under 500, 9 and 13.
The Angels, and then the Rockies again.
So if there's ever been a stretch...
Of like 15 games where Nationals also under .500.
