Kirk just gives you that big two out hit, that strike hit that he drives to right field and drives in a run.
And so, you know, and when he hits a double and he rolls into second base, I think that, you know, there's some part of that celebration that everybody's sort of smiling, laughing, and enjoying it.
But it does feel like they're starting to come out of it.
And there is a haze that happens when you win and you go there.
And, you know, there's a part of it that feels like, okay, we're just going to do what we did last year.
Because you've got to remember, man, that snowball rolled back down the mountain, and you've got to push it back up to the top again.
uh to get there and uh and it feels like start some of that energy starting to come and you know i gotta say i give john snyder credit i he's been way more patient than i would have been like i would have been barking a little bit earlier and he's just kept waiting for guys to start come out of it and to start to perform and get going knowing that it's a long season and i think it also helps that that you know the rest of the america league has waited for the blue jays to get healthy uh and now they're going to pay a price for it absolutely
