Like, I think it's really going to be telling how the players feel based upon how Scott Boris represents Scooble in free agency.

Between the end of the World Series and December 1st, there's plenty of time to negotiate a deal, find out who's in.

My guess is whatever structure they put in place, they'll have to grant, if they have a salary cap, they're going to have to grandfather some of these teams that have payrolls that are at $500 million.

Or they're going to have to pay penalties on it and that sort of thing.

So I think that it's going to be interesting.

I don't think, if you're going to have a salary cap, then they have to centralize all of the local sports media companies.

earnings right so yes network uh the dodgers uh you know regional sports network that's worth billions of dollars uh the braves are actually just starting one themselves in the meantime the commissioner has been collecting teams into the major league baseball production group to produce all those games but if you're going to split the money evenly then you've got to get yes network sny all of the you know teams to commit to making it one pool of money right

I mean, you can't put him on the injured list if he's not hurt.

It's not like, well, we just want a slow play, so we're going to put him on the injured list.

You'd have to option him to the minor leagues, which would allow you to use whatever pace you want to use without it affecting the major league team.

I personally think you start him in the big leagues, and you protect him during the course of the season.

Yeah.

If at five innings you've got a 7-2 lead, well, then get him out of the game at that point.

Go to your bullpen.

I would much rather protect a pitcher while he's pitching at the major league level than shutting him down or starting and stopping.

I just think that the starting and stopping style of protecting an arm is not a healthy one.

I'd rather let him pitch and just take him from start to start and protect him a little bit.
