Do you think Vladdy, if you did this in 10 years, Steve, would be a slam dunk to take over the number one spot?

So you think, like, how much weight did the moment have as opposed to just the regular seasons and just being a great player?
Did that moment, that World Series winning home run, is that, like, so significant that just vaulted Joe Carter as a slam dunk to be the number one?
Steve, the last couple years heading into the season, I think all of us were critical of what happened in the offseason.
We weren't optimistic about the upcoming season.
And sure as you know what, they go to the World Series last year.
So how do you kind of form your opinions about what's gone in the offseason and what should be expected from this team the Jays are going to field on Friday?
But the contract, it kind of caught people by surprise a little bit, and you're wondering what's up with this.
And now starting the season in the fashion that he is, is there some concern there that this is just going to lead into one of those things that becomes a big-time problem?
What did you make of the extensions yesterday, Steve?
It wasn't too long ago we were talking about those two guys that might be in trouble, and it didn't look so rosy.
Is that just timing, kind of taking advantage of their success last year?
It's good for both of them.

I think some old schoolers would have some differing opinions on the list because it seems like it's favoring younger generation.
