You know, you see him on the field.

He almost is like mean and scary out there.

But in the clubhouse, he's a great guy.

He's actually really calm.

He's very approachable.

You know, and I think that's just part of his game.

He's got a lot of passion.

And, you know, the way he plays on the field is, you know, that really shows.

But in the clubhouse, he's just a great guy.

You know, he was a good teammate.

And so, yeah.

Yeah, I think I'm a lot different.

I think my stuff is honestly as good, if not better, than it was back then as far as command and everything.

But I think just mentally I just have kind of a better grip on myself and, you know, I think confidence and, you know, dealing with failure, dealing with success.

I think I'm definitely more leveled out.

You know, the game has a tendency to do that to you.

So I think I would just...

really taught myself to enjoy it more that was a big emphasis on my season last year it's just you know last year my contract i was like i just want to really enjoy this year and it really paid dividends for me you were able to do that though because again we come back to like some guys handle contract years different right yeah but you were able to do that yeah i really was able to do that even pitching the playoffs last year i'm like you know this is

Playing in New York, Walsh and Red Sox, or Red Sox-Yankees matchup, I really just was able to enjoy that.

I got to pitch in two games, and I think that's really what I would go back and tell myself.
