I don't know if you pass on movies, but what movie do you regret just not doing that you could have done the most?

I didn't pass on it.

I helped develop Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.

I brought the original writer back on the project, Ron Bass, and I worked with him on a couple of drafts.

I was all ready to make the movie.

And then something came along in my life, and I needed to drop out of that film to help my friend.

And that's the only movie that I ever had a chance of making that I was sorry I didn't take.

But I thought Barry Levinson did a brilliant job making it into his movie.
