You know, it's like, you know, Claude doesn't want her to fly.

He's not going to drive killbots into cities and start shooting people.

I really hope that by the time this airs, this will be like

I think probably something silly and scary will probably end up happening, but hopefully it won't be as cataclysmic.

I mean, again, the zoom out level of the US government can just threaten any domestic company by saying, if you don't play ball with us,

by our rules, we can ruin you.

I don't think that that will rather... I don't think that'll fly really well with a lot of people.

Rather, I think everyone would be pretty upset about that.

Everybody, both sides of the aisle, you know, I don't think that's a partisan concern.

This is... This goes in the face of...

And the American dream writ large of, you know, you make a company, you do whatever you want, or, you know, yada yada, caveats, but, you know, the whole notion that the government could just step in and say, no, you're going to do it our way and you don't get a choice or you're going to be destroyed, that's not going to fly with anybody.

I would think.

Maybe I'll be disappointingly proven wrong next week and there'll be major support for this insane overreach of power, but I hope not.

Maybe this represents my childhood innocence.

Yeah, I'll let the pretending slide this time if they'll pretend that they did the right thing, actually.
