I'm going to spend my time speaking to a few of these IPL owners or people around who take those calls and see what they're interested in.
And because you've just been hearing that there's a lot of interest, but I really want to know if they understand what's happening and what's in store for them.
So say the Rajasthan Royals buy and it's the Melbourne Royals.
So who supports them?
If it's under the same rules as it is now and there's no Indian players who are allowed to play in the competition and it's the renegades' rosters playing in Royals' uniform, who supports them?
I don't know, right?
So I'll tell you what.
If, say, Rajasthan probably is a difficult example to use, but if it's Chennai Super Kingsβ¦
or maybe Royal Challenges Bangalore, teams who have massive support and there's that city appeal to it as well.
I mean, Rajasthan is a state, it's not a city.
So, I mean, there are Rajasthan Royals fans all around India, but they're not as vocal as Bangalore fans, or Chennai fans, or Mumbai fans, or even Calcutta fans.
So, I can see a scenario of, say, one of those teams by a team, say, Sunrisers by a team.
There might be people, and I know a lot of people from Hyderabad live here,
maybe they'll go and support their team.
But if I'm from Chennai, I'm not supporting their team.
Or if I'm from Bombay.
So there's also this whole cultural misunderstanding around India being one, that if there's one Indian owner, they'll support it.
I don't think it works like that.
And I think I can give you a footy example.
I mean, Amit Benz is the CEO of Western Bulldogs, great man.
