Because I sort of feel like if Adelaide's to progress this year, he's going to have to put the cape on again, isn't he?
How do you feel about where he's at and where the club's at?
It's a lot to ask of him.
I think in the perfect world, he would have been the bits and pieces player by now, but that's just not their reality through form and through availability.
So he'll still be up for it.
But the question is, once you're in the twilight, what are you capable of?
And that, yeah, you need that natural evolution within the team, don't you?
You do, and then their back six was so tight last year, and they actually transitioned pretty well.
I think they, in the top half, were scoring off intercepts.
Now they're in the bottom half, and it's like their defenders are defending okay, but they can't really generate a lot from it.
So I'm sure they've worked on that.
There's a good opportunity in the bye to work on some of these things, and we'll probably see a different type of Adelaide to start with this week, but unfortunately, if it doesn't go well, you slip back into your old habits pretty quickly.
