So you mean last year, another thing we covered on the show extensively, last year Damian Pardo tried to cancel the 2025 election and postpone it to 2026, gifting himself and his colleagues an extra year in office in the process.
Instead, it was challenged legally by Emilio Gonzalez, who was running for mayor of the city of Miami last year.
He won.
And then there were multiple appeals that the city took on.
But we're paying for it.
amassing hundreds of thousands of dollars in attorney's fees that not only the taxpayers had to pay to defend disenfranchising themselves, but now the city has paid over $150,000 in attorney's fees to Emilio Gonzalez.
for prosecuting that case successfully against the city.
Alex Miranda, I guess, runs that PAC or is involved.
Yes, he was Damien Pardo's political consultant, I think, on both of his campaigns.
And I imagine is going to be on his reelection campaign next year.
I feel like there's a missing piece to the story here.
