This is great for a number of different reasons.

OK, that the big unspoken elephant in the room is that Lamar Jackson, multiple time MVP, who was never supposed to be a quarterback in the league, is a disappointment.
It's something you guys want to seize on, but we're not going to seize on Mike just shrugging his shoulders and saying, and the league colluded against him.
Like, as a matter of fact, he was the MVP of the league.
Everyone needed a quarterback.
Nobody bid on him.
Why does no one object to that?
That's strange.
But why is this?
Why is he?
Like, the absurdity of saying is fact.
Yeah, the league colluded there.
The league colluded to keep costs down by not giving an MVP quarterback at the end of his career what they would have given him if everybody was fighting over the money.
But my point...
point to you is that one conversation merits serious argument and it's not whether or not Lamar Jackson's career is as a disappointment when all he did was threaten the league's salary structure and then the owners just shrugged and said, yeah, we're not going to pay you like that.
