Rana Froher, Global Business Columnist and Associate Editor at the Financial Times.
Thank you so much.
Now, for the answer to this week's trivia.
So here was the question.
I went out for breakfast with my mum and dad last Saturday morning in a town in Ireland.
Can you tell which one based on the clues I'm about to give you?
The founder of the US state of Pennsylvania was born there.
It was the first town in Ireland to have electric street lighting in 1899 and it's home to Ireland's only toy soldier factory with a major Battle of Waterloo exhibition.
The answer is Macroom in my own native Cork.
And that's it for this week's Taking Stock with me, Susan Hayes-Cullerton.
I hope you enjoyed the show and hopefully even learned something about economics, but more importantly, how it shapes the world around us.
Quick reminder, the show is available as a podcast first every Friday morning on the Go Loud app or wherever you go to get your podcasts.
And of course, please do pop it into your WhatsApp groups for anybody who might be interested.
Taking Stock is also on air here on News Talk every Sunday morning at 9am.
The producer of the show is John Fardy and research this week was by Stephen Daunt and Simon Kean with Hugo de Silva-Scott on sound.
Thanks so much for listening.
Have a great day and I will talk to you again next week.
