I think she writes sex really well.

I think she writes...

affection and touching very well.

Often writers will overdo it, but she doesn't.

And I think on that second read, I saw more humour in it.

And I think sometimes, I think that's often with English work, which is held back, you need to read slowly and you need to read every word in order to get the most of it.

It's the same experience I have with Michelle de Creta when I read The Life to Come and also Questions of Travel.

I found that I just needed to slow my head and it wasn't a book that I could read quickly.

It was a book that I needed to savour.

And I do think that Rose Tremaine is a similar writer who makes her readers work.

But I think if you do work and slow down and read well, then the writing itself rewards you.
