An HSA is a health savings account and it's attached obviously to a high deductible health insurance policy.
But within that HSA, you have the ability to invest that money.
And if used properly and for certain things, when you go to take it out,
It's tax-free.
So you got a tax deduction when you put it in.
It has been in there growing.
And then when you go to take it out, it is tax-free if it's for a medical qualified expense.
As a spouse, you could pass that tax freedom to a spouse, but you cannot pass it down to your children.
