AstraZeneca will give lower prices to Medicaid and offer some of its prescription drugs directly to consumers at a discount.
The company says those prices would be up to 80% less than its list prices.
In return, AstraZeneca will get a three-year exemption from certain tariffs.
This is part of the Trump administration's wider initiative to bring American drug prices more in line with those paid in other developed countries.
The White House's first deal was with Pfizer and was announced last month.
The administration is also setting up a website called TrumpRx to help patients find drug makers selling drugs directly to patients at lower prices.
Eli Lilly is announcing that early results from a Phase 3 clinical trial of its GLP-1 pill show it reduced participants' A1c, a measure of blood sugar control, better than placebo. The trial lasted 40 weeks and was only for people with type 2 diabetes. According to the company, the safety and efficacy was consistent with its injectable GLP-1 drugs, Zepbound and Manjaro.
