What's the, yeah.

Cause there has to be a cost.

Like I think even something like the will of the many, right?

Like there is such a clear, you know,

map for how this world works.

Because I think that's the hallmark of any kind of fantasy is the world can be as far removed from our own as it possibly could be, but it has to make sense and the rules have to make sense within that kind of bubble.

So in the Tyrannus bubble, I think it was explained really well.

Which is a dark academia thing.

I think that whole it has to have rules and this is how we apply it because I think like Katabasis, which we read recently,

um it also has that kind of thing where there's a very theoretical like academic way to apply this method so it just feels like yes of course they study magic of course this is a thing and the fact that here like their magic is sort of um like the equivalent for electricity I think in a lot of ways like it literally powers their whole society um and that also made it feel very realistic like it was having this clear effect in their world like

And I think it added, I think we were talking about this off mic as well, just the kind of steampunkness of the world as well.

The gasp, I gasped.

It was, yeah, it was very dramatic.

I was sitting in bed reading it and I literally had to like wake up my partner and I was like, Matt, I need to explain this.

This is such a big reveal.
