So I recently edited Fight for Us by Lauren Jackson.

It was such a fun experience because I felt like all this media we've been consuming up to this age was like preparation for me editing this book.

Mostly she kind of is inspired by the lore from Vampire Diaries and that kind of 2010s era.

Yeah, and they're Australian vampires, which I don't know if we've really seen.

And it's quite funny.

I think they're from memory somewhere based in Victoria where it's really, like, misty.

It's got to be misty.

Yeah.

What a turn from this very adult book and these very adult kind of topics to have come so far that these can be now children's books.

It's just the OG.

It's just like where it all came from, like what inspired like over hundreds of adaptations, like TVs, books, other books, movies.

It's just like seeing what kind of was that like that original inciting text, seminal text of its time.
