Even when I was making no money at all, you know, from this show.

I mean, it's been years that I haven't made a dime.

Yeah.

I don't have any huge sponsors or anything.

So a lot of it just comes down to my pocket.

My brain is sponsored, the show.

But I do it because...

I know it's important, you know, I know it's important to have something that's giving back to the community and making us feel good about ourselves, you know?

Yeah.

And then I know there's some young person looking like, wow, I'm going to do that one day and they're going to do a bigger and better, you know, motivation, inspiration, you know?

So we like to just make sure that the show is very, um, positive and inspirational so that we can influence people to do great things.

We can never just do our thing.

Yeah, definitely a lot.

Yeah.

A lot.

Yeah, it's a lot.

You know, because we've been told that stuff from slavery, this nappy hair and...

I have a son and daughter, and they're like two years apart.

So my daughter has big, thick coily hair, but my son has curly hair, kind of like your hair, but big waves and curls.

And so they both, I have them out, they both dress real nice, and my daughter's all pretty and stuff.
