So the people who he has surrounded himself with are not people who see themselves as guardrails on his impulses.
They are people who are there to say yes, to help him execute on what he wants to execute on.
And, you know, gone are the people who would wring their hands and and see themselves as containing him.
And as a result, he hasn't fired them, even though someone like Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth certainly had a lot of controversy early on.
Trump stood by him.
Trump is standing by these people in part because they're standing by him.
