I understand that the public sort of blurs the lines. Yeah, I totally get what you're saying. But like, she was a caterer. I knew her through my friend who was also a caterer in New York, in D.C., sorry. And she was not in the business. People trust her more than they trust NBC. Right.
And honestly, like if you go and watch her do reporting, like she knows how to investigate. She has an opinion that she has a perspective. But some people would argue that a lot of people on the networks also have opinions and perspectives. And she's incredibly influential. You know, you saw Moshe Winonu do this. You saw Jessica Yellen.

There are various other people who have like come before us and done this. I don't actually believe that you have to have a brand in some ways, I think it hurts. Like sometimes I don't want to play up my credentials from having worked in mainstream media because the fact that people don't trust the mainstream media right now, it makes them more suspicious of you.

I'll see in comments like, but you worked here and you worked there, it's like, Actually, I don't, I want you to take me for who I am and my journalism and the stories I've broke, but I don't, I'm also creating a community with people who don't go to traditional sources and I'm creating a community based on trust. And so they're just getting to know me. It's like dating. You know what I mean?

Like they are getting to know me. I'm getting to know them. We are building a community of trust together and I'm in it for the long haul. And so it takes a long time. Like it's not a flash in the pan kind of thing with, with social media. You are, you are creating something that's bigger and longer lasting. So I don't necessarily agree that you have to be a big brand.

I've seen a lot of people who aren't big brand, who were never big brands before have millions and millions of people follow them and consider them to be news sources.

But let's go back to- It's a lot of work though, Chuck. Yeah. even if that is truly what they're doing. Like it's not, it's not, it's a lot of work to make a few extra thousand dollars. Like I think what you're seeing is a lot of activists on both sides claiming to be journalists more so than anything else.
