THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

I don't want people on the left to understand that I'm propagandizing them.

I don't want people on the right to know that I'm propagandizing them.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

You can what comes on the obvious I've got some experience in this writing stuff.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

That's that's like subtly political and if you write things that are subtle People are going to understand them

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

in their own way i've gotten a lot of people that they that they you know tweet at me or they'll post and they're mad when they find out that the songs that they thought meant something because it was subtle they thought that it meant one thing come to find out that i don't hold those beliefs or i didn't hold those beliefs and they are

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

upset so yes it is true it is better when you can be subtle but if you want to send a message it's you do have to be fairly clear and if you're not some you know for a lot of people if you're not specifically overtly saying something they're going to internalize it as as something that they relate to and honestly that's kind of what you want listen when you write a song

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

you want people to listen to the song and you want them to to think of it as their own right when you listen to music that you love you think about like where did you hear the song first like what were the circumstances in your life i there are songs that i love and every time i hear them you know when i haven't heard it for a long time i remember what it smelled like when i was listening to that song for the first time a lot and so those those kind of memories are something that's attached to music and you don't want to take that away from people

Timcast IRL

But at the same time, if people find out or when people realize that you weren't saying what they thought you were saying, they get very upset and they feel like they've taken something from that, even though it was never something that was offered to them in the first place.

So right now, as far as I can tell, the internet is allowing cultures around the world to obliterate the American conservative nature of the United States because it's just getting hit from every angle by so many things and then immigration.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

And so...

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

There's like a rapid iteration redux it feels like going on right now.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

Yeah, and the grand irony, before we go to the next story, that the Grammys was kind of the epicenter of cultural cohesion for a long time.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

Us, everybody getting together on Thursday night to watch the Grammys, and then the next day at work, you'd talk about what song won.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

I heard that on the radio last week, but now that very same institution that was supposed to kind of centralize us to remember something together is...

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

Is sporadic it feels like I don't even know what song I don't even know if I knew any song at the Grammys I don't know if I've heard it cuz I don't listen to the radio spirit box performance was great.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

Yeah.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

Oh, they're a heavy metal band They're you know, they're good But I will say like it's likely that the only reason that that particular heavy metal band was performing is because they have a female singer That's correct.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

That's worth noting the fact that there are so many leftists that are saying, no, these are actually bad and they're

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

They're contributing to stereotypes and we should stop this now.

Timcast IRL
THEY CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE w/ Auron MacIntyre & Adam Johnson

It's ridiculous.
