early days but so i think like i mean instagram only launched in 2010 there weren't that many places for sort of like public posts and twitter was the only platform that allowed for like public discovery of posts in that way as well because facebook was your friends facebook was still dominant that was the platform that most people were using that was really just your friends it wasn't getting travel people weren't getting outraged in the same way yeah it felt like twitter was the open water in a way yes
