grew up thinking that it was a viable career path, like I think many of us do, where we're like, I'll probably either go to college and get a job, or probably I'll be a famous actress.
And probably I'll do that.
Yeah, you're like, surely I'll be on camera for a living.
And no, and then I moved to the city in my early mid-20s.
And I think at that age, you start to get a little bit more like, oh, wait, it's hard.
And I was waiting tables and stuff.
And so I minimize my dreams to a realistic place.
And I went, OK, actually, I will wait tables, a thing I was really, really bad at, and do improv.
Because it was the boom.
It was during the big boom.
Oh, OK.
And you don't get paid for improv.
If anything, you pay to do improv.
No, dignity, a lot of it.
And so I was doing that.
And I was being the worst waitress in New York City, tri-state area maybe as a whole.
