And that's why, to me, that third wildcard spot, it's good for baseball.
Because, like you said, you know, you struggled against Pittsburgh.
I mean, it's just you never know in this game.
So on to that point about the Dodgers.
Obviously, gigantic market team.
We all know what they've done with the players they've signed, the deferrals, all of that.
You have managed both big market and small market teams.
Does it ever get on your nerves a little bit the way the market is with disparity of contracts and money?
Does that ever irk you a little bit being now in a small market situation?
And that's a huge part of the game, too.
Obviously, you have to develop your own players.
And the Reds have done a nice job of that, right?
The Reds have had a very nice little farm system come up and have contributed with the team.
But I also feel like in this day and age with the way baseball is, you also have to find and sign impactful free agents.
And obviously, the Dodgers do that.
And one thing that I loved...
that the Reds did is they knocked out the high-powered New York Mets team.
Like, talk about big markets spending money.
I mean, we all know the Juan Soto contract.
That was part of my thing with the Reds.
