I think we're still hopeful for sure that there'll be no stoppage.
But I think there is more active planning of what would we do in the event of
And so I think it's been fascinating to see how many people have signed long term multi year deals.
There could be a thought that that would be an indication of how pessimistic both sides could be about a work stoppage.
But I think the fact that both sides are signing these longer term deals, especially for some of the up and coming bright young stars in the game, is encouraging.
It indicates that we do expect that whatever transpires, it hopefully will not be long.
It will be short lived and maybe we won't miss any regular season games.
But I think we're all bracing for what fans are reading as an inevitable time where there's at least going to be some significant negotiations on both sides, as I do think the sport is in a very healthy spot, but does bear some discussion.
You know, as we do see a diversification of teams that are making the playoffs, but we don't really see a diversification of teams winning the World Series.
We're seeing that coming just so predominantly from top 10 payroll teams and teams
You know, as as much as we like to celebrate what the Milwaukee Brewers and Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays do, the bottom line is it's a much smaller subset of teams are ultimately winning these World Series, and they want to make this seem

Yeah, and Jeff, I would expect, and the three of us don't know exactly how this is going to play out, but I think if there's going to be a salary cap, there's going to have to be a salary floor as well.
So I think when you talk about the grandfathering, it may be as much to achieve the floor as it is to accommodate the cap.
Because there's going to be a bunch of teams that, you know, you mentioned shave $160 million off your payroll.
Well, I think it will also be tough for some of these owners to add $100 million to their payroll in one offseason.
So I think there would have to be an on-ramp.
I think there would have to be a reasonable timeframe within which teams could become compliant for this to really have effect and to gain the ground it would need to get the votes necessary to pass.
I appreciate it, guys.
Always great going on with you guys.
