I mean, there are some other impressive players on offense that I think deserve like a second and third place or an honorable mention or something, or possibly they can find their way onto another spot on these awards.

Yeah.

But without question, I mean, you just put the statistics next to each other and it's Andrew Thomas by a mile.

I mean, you said a long time ago when Joe Shane made the move for Brian Burns that you were a little worried that he wasn't going to be this massive impact.

I'm not saying that you're wrong, but you did very good research to come in is like he had like one year as an outlier where he really broke out.

It's like I'm not counting on the outlier year to be the consistent for Brian Burns.

This is now another tally in that outlier year.

This was an incredible year for Brian Burns with 16 and a half sacks, 22 talks for our losses, ridiculous.

And the stats alone, just like you don't even, they were, they were game breaking plays.

You know what I mean?

Like the strip sack fumbles, Brian Burns was by far and away the most impactful player on defense.

And part of that also is because the defense was atrocious all year.

Um, but he was consistent all year.

And on top of that, he's, he's a, you know, a vocal leader, captain, um,

I I'm not expecting this to be the consistent for Brian Burns going forward, but he set a very high bar that I'm hoping that this can continue for him.

Yeah, and again, I don't want to take anything away from Brian Burns individually here, but in terms of my optimism for looking forward to his career, I think that it definitely helps him that he's part of a very balanced front now.

You have a rotation with Dexter Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeau and Abdul Carter.

If you expected a jump from Abdul Carter into next year, obviously a better scheme you're hoping for from Dexter.

And you're hoping for a defensive tackle alongside of Dexter Lawrence that can stop the run too.
