There's no rush to put Abdul Carter on the field if he's not ready.
And same situation with the quarterbacks, at least in theory and on paper, the way that they set the quarterback system up with Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and then Jackson Dart to come along whenever he's ready.
But he started way earlier than I expected.
To me, Jackson Dart did more to...
changed the dynamic of this season and the feelings behind this season in the middle of the year.
It did feel like at any point against any team, there was at least a chance that we could win when Jackson Dart was playing for a portion of the year, whereas I don't think that Abdul Carter had that specific impact on the team.
But it's a really close debate, and I think that there's good arguments for both players.
Well, another thing that really puts a feather in Jackson Dart's cap, that's the wrong term.
Doesn't matter.
He's a legitimate candidate to be the rookie of the year for the league.
He's a legitimate candidate.
He's not going to win, and that's kind of bullshit.
But, yeah.
Yeah, and it happened at the wrong time.
If the PR nightmare was early on in the season, and then, like, I think it would be out of everybody's minds.
They wouldn't even remember that it happened.
But because it only happened, like... And he only had half the sack at that point, too.
Yeah, was it, like, five weeks ago, six weeks ago, we were talking about this?
Really wasn't that long.
Yeah, it was the Patriots game.
