Like he's defensively reliable enough to hang in the top six or even on the top line.
And that's useful if you're going to play hockey the way the Ottawa Senators do.
And certainly his ability to produce some goals is exactly what the Senators need.
So, yeah, I mean, I can see the fit.
I'd be a little surprised if it was a preference of the player.
I do think staying West is still likely to be higher up the list.
And it's just sort of a matter of sort of seeing where that goes.
And then in terms of value, I wouldn't think of him as like a pure cap dump.
I would I would expect you to be able to get something of a return because it's a reasonable enough contract.
He's young enough and he's a high level enough player that he shouldn't be a dead giveaway.

And I think the main one, like the main opportunity that I think is interesting for the Canucks is if you carve out roster spots,
If you carve out roster spots and opportunity and are drafting a ton of players and you also already have a ton of guys like, you know, Marco Rossi never really played like top line minutes for the Canucks.
He came into his own.
He was scoring at a 65 point base after the after sort of returning from that second injury absence.
but he was still playing like way fewer minutes than Teddy Bluger, right?
Or Linus Carlsen played really well, but we never saw power play one net front and we never saw him get loaded up with significant minutes.
