That's the same reason why I can't see them trading Philip Heronic, even though I think that's an error at this stage in this team's sort of cycle.

Like, my gut would be that Hronik's a non-starter because he represents a lot of what they want to be about.

And my gut would be that they probably want a clean start from Elias Pettersson, not because he represents, like, everything they're not about, but because there might just be too much water under the bridge.

And it's easier to build the sort of environment that they want to build without that baggage.
