No, I mean, I was really impressed with his game against Anaheim.
I think it has to be.
Well, the reason is that it's an uncomplicated moment of fun where if you're watching it, you're like, yeah!
And if you're watching the team, the players felt that way too.
And I think that's what stands out to me about...
in general, that game that we just watched was that the Canucks looked like they were having fun.
You know, you could see it from Teddy Bluger, too, when he tied up the game against San Jose.
Like, this has been a long, miserable season.
And it's nice for the team to end on, you know, it's not a high note.
Like, let's be real here, okay?
The Canucks played terrible defense in both of these games.
It's not like there's new structural fortitude.
This idea that the team's getting it and making progress is a lie.
But it's fun to win.
It's miserable to lose as often as the Canucks have lost this season.
Be able to come to the end of the year and have a couple of fun wins, like a comeback win on the road, a good fun California road trip.
You get some sunshine.
