Through all this playoff frustration, I feel like they have been the team.

We knew going into this deadline that this was such a unique opportunity for Carolina because their Bain, the Florida Panthers, you know, were beginning to tank and Sasha Barkov tore his ACL and like that already opened a window for them.

And it's like they just believed that if we have a good team, if we control play, if we play this way, eventually the seas will part and things will work out in our favor.

And then they go into this playoffs and they got the classic bit of playoff luck where Montreal preposterously gets outplayed in two consecutive game sevens against superior opponents in Tampa and Buffalo, allowing the Carolina Hurricanes to duck both, right?

Like they played the weakest team coming out of there.

And then dusted Montreal.

So they got that sort of good fortune too.

They also ducked Colorado.

Yeah.

You know, I mean, Vegas ended up being a really serious opponent.

But like, if you told me in April, like, okay, Montreal is going to upset Tampa and Buffalo.

And Colorado's not going to advance out of the West.

Everyone's out.
