The only way another team is going to sign you is if they won't give up two first-round picks to get you.

No one's giving up two first-round picks to get Brees Hall.

So, you know, if you're the New York Jets, that's the better tag anyway.

The non-exclusive tag because no one's going to give you two first rounders.

So you get Brees Hall back and you get him for 11-5 instead of 14 and change.

So you save $3 million and you got the same player.

If you're Brees Hall, you're pissed because you're playing on a one-year deal and you've already had a terrible injury in your career and you're not maximizing your value.

So that makes an unhappy Brees Hall coming into camp.

But to be fair, that's also the business.

So you're getting $11.5 million guaranteed to play one year of football.

If you're smart with that money, you should be good for the rest of your life.

Now, tell a 25-year-old kid to be smart with money and, you know, I'll sell you a bridge.

But that looks like that's where the Jets are at.

He's going to threaten not to show up, I imagine.
