Yeah, I'm not sure where it's at, but to me analytics is kind of an interesting term because to me it's just breaking down film.
That's what it really is.
I mean, it's football.
My dad was doing it in 1973 in our basement with a 16-millimeter projector, and we were right there with him, you know, helping him do it.
That's amazing.
It's really not.
It's the same thing, but it's way more computerish now, and they've got way more information.
So really what it is now, it's like taking all that information, because you've got reams and reams of it, and making sense of it, and then defining it in football terms.
Like, what does this mean?
What can I learn from this, apply it to the game plan, or what can the players take from it that they can actually take onto the field and help them play better?
That's what it's all about.
It's deciphering all of the information.
Maybe that's what analytics means.
Yeah, it's kind of nostalgic.
