That's on Paul for creating this ownership cares about this, but not about that.
He should have worded it differently.
He should have followed up and said, what do you think of the decision?
Or he should have just not done it.
Because ultimately, who cares what we believe about Joe Shane?
Listen, I obviously am fine with Joe Shane sticking around because John Harbaugh took the job, but they do show themselves as being very small, the Giants, that they're giving credence to a random article from Paul Schwartz or any reporter.
Yeah, so just for clarity's sake, so Joe Shane is the general manager of the New York football Giants.
Dawn Aponte, who's had many jobs in the league, she's worked for the Jets, she's worked for the Browns, worked for the Miami Dolphins, mostly in football administration, labor finance conversations, etc.
But for the last decade, she has been at the NFL as a chief administrator of football operations.
That's just how the game runs, how the league runs itself.
Now, with the New York Giants, her title is Senior Vice President of Football Operations and Strategy.
Now, it's interesting only because that's what Joe Shane just said his role was.
I'm in charge of the football operations.
Now, what I hear that as is Joe Shane, as GM, is in charge of football operations, but he reports slash works with Donna Ponte, and it feels like they all now kind of get feedback from John Harbaugh.
Now, there's only a couple of...
Worries here.
So this is I don't say it's new to Dawn because she's done it in other places where she's been, you know, vice president of labor, vice president of football for operations with the Browns for a year.
Senior vice president with the Dolphins.
Same role for a couple of years.
But for the last decade, she's been at the league office.
