Superpower, baby.
Superpower.
Yes, now he also admitted, which I do have great respect for,
that he made some mistakes in year one as the head coach of the New York Jets.
And one of those mistakes that he thinks he made was kind of what Robert Sala alluded to when he was introduced to the Tennessee Titans a couple weeks back, where they gave up play calling duties on the defensive side of the ball, which is what basically got them the job in the first place.
You're a great defensive coordinator, right?
So he acknowledged the fact that he was a bit of a spectator.
and that he didn't have maybe his finger, my words, not his, on the pulse of the defense of the game plan because somebody else was calling the plays.
So I think that A is a great admission, shows that he's human, that he's not just some cock-of-the-walk guy.
It's like, I know more football than you know, so I'm not going to talk to you about what I know, which is kind of how he came off a lot last year, I thought, kind of disrespectfully to the media and by proxy the fans.
But, man, now I know.
Aaron Glenn has a superpower, and that's calling defense.
Yeah.
Which then begs the question, if your superpower is calling defense, and you own the mistake of not calling the defense last year, then why did you consider Wink Martindale to be the defensive coordinator, knowing full well that if anybody hires Wink Martindale based on his resume...
He's going to be calling the defensive plays, right?
Yeah.
Is that a fair question for me to ask?
I think it absolutely is.
So I'm asking it.
And then my second question, and again, we're not at Indy, so I can't ask Aaron Glenn directly, but when he gets back, you and I are going to have a breakfast with him so we will get a chance to talk to him one-on-one.
