The interesting last one was about advertising.
We cop a lot of grief for essentially advertising weight loss.
And I, I find it really, it's, it's kind of a challenging idea.
Cause like, obviously you have this problem, which is like promoting, uh, like body standards or any, like there is like a lot of dark parts of advertising thinness or in any way, it's gotta be very, very careful, but also these things are transformational for people's health.
And so if you, you like have some sense of responsibility to be like, Hey, like these things aren't going to kill you and you can do it in a safe and effective way and you'll be happier and healthier.
And like a lot of people are.
Um, and so if walking that line, um,
you end up getting a lot of criticism, which comes from people who have never really struggled with their weight.
And so they're like seeing pressure to lose weight through advertising as like a huge societal negative, which I understand, but there is also a huge societal positive, which is like people who have transforming experiences on these medications and on our programs, you know, have a better life.
And so you're walking that line is some criticism is really valid and you have to take it on board, but then there's so much of it that is like bad, poorly thought through and bad faith that you have to like get quite a thick skin to kind of push through and understand that you're doing the right thing.
Definitely.
Yeah, that was definitely part of the criticism.
I think like.
Yeah.
And it's an interesting societal question because like we go to big lengths to not advertise medication and we have to do that.
But a medical program, which is kind of what we offer, the question then is like, how do you talk about that without like, I guess, like at least insinuating that there is medication involved?
And you might take the view that like, well, there should be no advertising at all for any product that involves medicine.
But the counterfactual there is there's a lot of negative media coverage of these medicines.
So people, they get a stigma that is unwarranted.
I think like AstraZeneca vaccine is another example of this.
