Incredible ability to cover everything from technology to business model to molecule.
A lot of these guys that run these pharma companies, or guys or women that run these pharma companies, tend to be incredible mixers.
Like the guy who runs Novo at the moment, his name's Mike.
He has this incredible ability to spread from molecule to PBS listings to consumer drug conversion rate optimization challenges in the UK.
my priors on this are like the rise of the digital marketing revolution for my career right and like what happened was there was a fundamental change from marketers being narrative based to analytical and I turned out to be quite an I was like at the time quite an analytical person and so seeing this happen despite me having no marketing training felt like an incredible opportunity and like one that I like dived into and because there was nobody when you jump into a field where nobody is senior and nobody has any experience it's just such an incredible opportunity because like
every job is available.
And so, yeah, I would urge people to, you know, when the chessboard resets to, to move quickly.
And I think Australians tend to move with like a hesitancy, um, into new ideas and new information.
And I think like, that's a real mistake.
Like the more that you can dive in, assuming the world is going to change, I think the more opportunities that will present.
Hmm.
Even if you know very little now.
Also, the other thing that I think is really true is people often ask me about this type of stuff and they assume that they're late.
And it's like, you're always earlier than you think.
Always.
It's early in GLP-1s, you know, and, you know, it's five years in, right?
Like, it's so early in AI.
Mm-hmm.
Like trends run a lot longer than you think and the world is a lot bigger than you think.
And so that would be my other piece of advice there.
