We'd done a merger that kind of fell apart at the long docs phase.
And so, yeah, I was pretty practical about like also how I viewed the category, which was like there was going to be consolidation at some point.
Volume and scale really matters.
And so we always had an eye to how we got more scale, whether as the acquirer or the acquired.
And Hemsner's is like such a uniquely β
powerful player in our space that it was an obvious choice when it came around.
How does that feel?
Lucky for me, the guy that I'm reporting to feels in some ways like a 10-year-old clone of me in like a very performance marketing obsessed, very analytical, pretty no nonsense.
And so I feel kind of somewhat lucky that that has been the way it's played out.
But there's also like, it's one of those acquisitions where they're not buying us for IP, they're buying us for the ability to continue to scale.
And so the things that I've been doing, I feel like I'll be doing with new kind of purse, kind of string holders, but certainly the same thing at just a slightly different scale.
So I don't feel like the role is going to change so much, but you know, it's day two, so it's hard to really know.
Yeah, yeah.
But I've got a significant portion of my cash tied up in a known out.
So the next three years are going to be very intense for me.
Any big blowout or any big celebration so far?

I really didn't want to jinx it at all.
