I mean, here's the thing, right? I legitimately feel like you can take our conversations around Concord last year and just replay that episode of Games Daily, and it's going to be the exact same thing. I just think the problem there is it's even worse now because that's happened and we saw how it ended, so I just think it's a little more rough for this to be coming out now.

I will say looking at it, I personally think it looks really cool. I don't think that this looks like just another one of these things. I think there is a nice visual style to this that is fun and colorful in ways that I appreciate. Having said that, It's not Marathon. This is definitely a departure from what Marathon was.

I don't know that that's necessarily the biggest factor, but if you're going to bring back Marathon, why do it then, right? It might as well just be a new IP if it's a new IP. Sure. So that to me just is a little bit weird because Marathon's a lot grimier, and maybe they play into that. Again, I understand the argument that it doesn't matter, but then why use the brand?

You need the community. You need as many people playing as possible to have a player base that's actually playing the game for these type of multiplayer only experiences, which leads me to it's multiplayer only. And it's like, man, I look at that and I know that I am just a specific type of gamer, but there are many of me and I want to play a single player bungee marathon game that looks like that.
