period and like that to me is like thank god there are outliers thank god there is potential for this to be fought back against but you there needs to be so much love care and luck involved in that whereas you look at some of these things it's like there are just too many successful free-to-play games and when you design a game that walks like a duck talks like a duck and all that stuff and it's very expensive duck it's
Yeah. Yeah, and that's the thing where it's like... Guys, I lost it, all right? You know what I'm saying, but I lost where exactly I was going. You lost the duck? I lost the duck. Where's the duck, everybody?

That number to start? Is it like where it needs to be? There's no coming back. at this point, you know, I think gone are the days of the rainbow six sieges and things like that. I'm just like, Oh, we can like, we can fix this. We can get this because I think that so many of those were bolstered by other titles in the library, in the portfolios of these publishers.

And I think that one by one, we're seeing different verticals of these type of games get wiped out, not have enough success. And like,

studios get closed and it is kind of a condensing on okay we're losing we're not making enough money here let's pivot to more of these like free to play live service games or whatever and then it's like well what if the live service wasn't free to play what if we also charge what if we tried to make even more money from it and that's where we're at now

I mean, the sheer fact of the matter is Tarkov, for as popular as it is, is not going to get the backing ever that a PlayStation-backed Bungie with the game multi-platform, like with the NIP marathon. It's like, that's going to get so much push that, yeah, people are going to be interested. But what's the question? Is it going to be as good as Tarkov?

That's the problem. I feel like comparing a game, and I know that Tarkov also is a different level of game, so maybe in some ways Marathon will be better, but it will not be as feature complete as Tarkov, I don't think, and I think that is going to definitely make people look at me like, why the fuck would I pay for this when I could do this?

Yeah. I mean, I again, don't know. I haven't seen any real thoughts on hands on for this and later he'll from Paris, but I imagine it feels great.
