You only get really two chances, maybe three as a coach.

If you get fired three times, you're not coaching again.

And I would be shocked if he, on his own will, said, I'm not dealing with this.

Unless there was some personal reason or family reason.

Or it was so untenable that he just said, I'm not doing it.

I don't think he would have just left.
