And so then when they walked into the ring, the military that we forced to be there was saluting them in uniform because they could not tell, you know, whatever soldiers there were meant to salute wrestlers.

But they do salute, you know, Medal of Honor recipients.

So it was kind of a clever move.

He said it was in the mid-80s sometimes.

Yeah, and the speech is kind of a meditation on FTR's Four Freedoms, which is another speech worth going to read if you haven't.

In a minute, it's good to reflect on.

But he picked on one particular element where Wolf is talking about how

As fewer and fewer people join the military, more and more there'll be kind of a select group of people in the military that will be used by the broader society to their ends.

And it's something to guard against.

And you have this line in particular, those in the military will become sentinels at the Bacchanal and armed monks at the orgy.

Quite apt, 39 years before what – that was exactly what they were doing last night.
