She's supposedly an institutionalist.

You would think that the Senate Appropriations Chair, who was an institutionalist, would have demanded that the executive branch come to them with the plans for what they're going to do with the East Wing, get it funded, get it approved, get it signed.

And that's not what he did.

They just bulldozed the East Wing.

And now he's like, hey, I need a bunker in case I need to stay in here.

Yeah.

Well, I mean, we do know also that Trump was in the bunker during the George Floyd protests and maybe he just decided he didn't like the accommodations.
