There used to be a big lookalike agency up north called Fake Faces.
So I had, there was a local photographer in East Grinstead, my local town, and I had some photographs, some promotional photographs taken and sent them up to Fake Faces, Jez up there.
He's not, they don't hire out lookalikes anymore, but he does those tribute festivals, tribute bands and stuff.
Some of the tribute bands, Coldplay are incredible, the tribute band.
uh i don't know i just i'm semi i'm semi obsessed with the names i thought it was gonna be called like lukewarm play or something but yeah they're brilliant no anyway so i gave him all my details and i started getting bookings uh from him the first time what was the first one like what was that first right so this was when when i thought oh this is amazing so
He booked me for Vodafone call center in Newcastle, right?
With Del Boy and Basil Fawlty, right?
Two impersonators of them.
So I did about four hours in this call center in Newcastle with those two boys.
And it was just a laugh.
It was just mucking around, having a laugh with people in character.
And I was driving home thinking,
I want to do this forever.
This isn't like a proper job.
It's really amazing.
I often say to my missus, she's a mental health counsellor and she spends all day in misery, right?
And I go, oh, see you later.
I'm just going to go and fuck around for two hours and get my trip.
