Because if Iran shuts down the Strait of Hormuz, locking in these Gulf states so they can't sell their oil, then you're going to have record high gas prices.
And the only reason that gas, it's gone up, hasn't gone up even more, is because we took control of the oil in Venezuela.
Which, to be fair, again, it was ours.
They stole it from us.
So basically what happens is Iran...
plays this dirty game where they say, give us what we want or else.
And when our president and our leadership says, or else what?
They go, we'll bomb the Strait of Hormuz.
And then we're like, oh, okay, let's think about what that means.
Iran threatens to blow up ships trying to leave the Gulf states.
This is Kuwait, this is Bahrain, this is UAE, Qatar.
They want to sell oil.
You don't got to like any of these countries, but they do sell oil.
That was always allowed.
And Iran's saying they're going to blow up the Strait and they're going to bomb ships that go through unless we give them what they want.
Okay, well, do we go to war?
Do we go to war with Iran because they keep threatening this?
You know, the past several presidents said no.
They said, it's just not worth it.
And to be fair, in the Bush administration, they very much wanted it.
