What did we say two weeks ago on this show?
Donald Trump was trying to bring Iranian oil into the Western sphere of influence.
And right now, fingers crossed, Trump has announced some kind of joint venture with Iran to toll anybody passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which, yes, could make Iran lots of money.
but could also make the United States lots of money.
In the end, these Gulf states that want to transport liquid natural gas and crude oil through the Gulf are going to have to pay up.
And that's massive for the U.S.
and for the petrodollar system.
Now Trump is saying, thank you to China, thank you to Pakistan, we're getting things done.
And we are again, our fingers are crossed that this will ultimately wind down.
Donald Trump may have just set the board up in such a way.
The US, the Western advantage is so tremendous.
There will be no more opposition.
That is no dominant Chinese hegemonic authority.
This is all wishful thinking, mind you, because we're still in the thick of it, and we're hoping these things remain cool and solidify over the next couple of weeks.
In the meantime, however, all of these, I don't know how to describe them, anti-Trump people who use, well, let's put it this way.
Firstly, all the anti-Trump people, which includes the liberals who always hate Trump, and now the conservatives who've broken from Trump and hate him too, are attacking him for having not gone to war.
These are grifters, they are liars, and they have nothing but my utter disdain.
Some people who I consider friends of the show, even who have been on TimCast IRL, are sitting here insulting Trump and calling him a chicken, despite being critical of the war the whole time.
This really boils my blood.
I want success in the region.
