Don't get me wrong.
The U.S.
absolutely adheres to a joint plan with Israel when it comes to the Middle East.
And Israel does apply pressure, which pushes the U.S.
in the Middle East in directions that many people in this country do not like and don't want to go.
That's always that that's a legitimate criticism.
But they do not run our foreign policy.
It's just just not the case.
Right now, Donald Trump is trying to bring about an end to this war.
He's negotiating a ceasefire.
Israel is reportedly still launching strikes.
They're still engaged in a war in Lebanon.
And there is, again, these rumors that because of Israeli strikes, Iran is halting traffic in the Strait of Hormuz to apply pressure.
See, this is a problem for the United States.
If Israel's action can create leverage points for our adversaries when we're trying to negotiate peace, we have a problem.
We should not be held to this standard.
It should be very simple.
Iran shuts down the Strait of Hormuz.
The response from the US should be, that's Israel.
You take it up with them.
