Do they want to coordinate with us?
You saw a U.S.
attorney stand up, which would have been let go by any other administration yesterday.
Speculating about things with no factual information.
That's defamation.
And that's coming from the attorney.
We are under assault like no other time in our state's history because of a petty, vile administration that doesn't care about...
well-being of minnesotans my job is to protect the well-being of minnesotans so the good news on this is republicans assured they're going to lose the governor's race dramatically um that that's fine by me i don't care who sets in this seat as long as it's not one of them who hurt minnesotans i care that it's somebody who understands and respects this office so isn't that amazing look at that that's not years ago dude that's last week
So I've decided to step out of this race and I'll let others worry about the election while I focus on the work that's in front of me for the next year.
Hi, everyone.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz here.
You witnessed in Minnesota yesterday a tragedy, the death of Rene Good on the streets at the hands of a federal agent.
You also witnessed last night a beautiful vigil.
a peaceful visual people expressing their constitutional and first amendment rights i say thank you i've been very clear we need a couple things here we need minnesota to carry out this investigation to make sure that the professionals at the bca and and that local law enforcement who's in charge of law enforcement um make sure we
we do the investigation and then to pull back this unnecessary surge.
And so with that, I would ask for all of us to continue to do this peacefully, continue to raise our voices, but do so in a manner that brings about that sense of community.
In Minnesota, I'm declaring tomorrow at 10 a.m.
on January 9th.
I'd ask everyone to pause for a moment of silence to remember Renee Goode, also to remember all that's good and right about this nation.
And I'm going to ask folks if they can, I'd ask employers to give their people some space.
