I encourage you to use your First Amendment rights and all of your constitutional rights, but do so in a peaceful manner.

I came to the conclusion that I can't give a political campaign my all.

Every minute that I spend defending my own political interest would be a minute I can't spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who want to prey on our differences.

If that is happening, those people should go to prison.

They should go to jail.

Your administration has eroded what remained of the limited constitutional protections around free speech.

I don't know what to tell you, and I don't quite know how to respond to the question other than my primary responsibility as governor is the protection of the people of Minnesota.

And you can be assured, whether it's the State Patrol or whether it's the National Guard, their deployment is there to protect Minnesotans from whatever it is.
