We were never going to be good enough, and you've got to be a realist about it.
But in all the things and all the ideas that we had and the way that we fired up our players to perform different roles, we gave them roles, and they did a great job.
We just weren't good enough in the end.
They coached to win this game, though.

And I believe that, too.
And even as a player, I believe this, that you never went into a game believing or thinking that you weren't going to win or you weren't capable of winning.
Yeah.
And he told that great story last night too about, you know, when he pumped the players up and, you know, their backs against the wall, that type of thing.
And they really were probably way below where they needed to be to compete against this team.
I don't even remember which team it was that they were playing, but they got up and had one of their great wins.
Well, look at the Bulldogs against Essendon that year.

And that was a dramatic overhaul of the way they played specific to that one contest against Essendon that night.
Now, maybe they can do that.
Maybe Bevo's capable of actually coming up with a game plan.
